EB-4 Visa – Special Immigrants

The EB-4 visa is the fourth preference category, created for special immigrant groups that do not fit into traditional employment-based visas. Eligible applicants include religious workers, employees of certain international organizations, broadcasters, Afghan and Iraqi translators who worked with the U.S. government, and other unique cases. Unlike EB-1 to EB-3, EB-4 is not based on general job offers but on specific eligibility defined by U.S. immigration law. The EB-4 provides permanent residency for individuals who have contributed in specialized or humanitarian ways and offers a tailored pathway for these categories to live and work in the United States.
